This can be a part of your postpartum healing journey. When the placenta is birthed so are the hormones it was providing to the birthing person during pregnancy. The sudden drop in hormones can cause discomfort, hair loss, headaches, night sweats, mood swings, and more. Placenta encapsulation may help to reduce these symptoms. It also may help with energy and milk production.
